May 30, 2016 Hemingway Butte

On Monday, May 30, we rode the trails near Hemingway Butte.  Actually, we didn't ride ALL the trails but we sure tried, especially trying to get back.  Dave, who was a good leader most of the day, lost all his "little chicks".  We should have had a video because we drove around in circles quite a bit.  We tried a trail, then turned around to come back, then met all the other lost riders and then we all turned around and tried another trail. We may have all returned on different trails but we made it back to the parking lot. The trails had lots of twists and turns and "whoop-de-doos". There were a couple of steep, rocky hills (mountains?) at the beginning.  We stopped at the top of one treacherous hill to take photos and see if everyone got up ok.  Janet was screaming like a banshee!  She caught right on to ATV riding!  And screaming is just part of the fun.

Danskin ride-May 25

On Wednesday, May 25, we went riding in the Danskins.  The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful.  Lots of wildflowers and I don't know why I didn't take any pictures of them.  The ride was without incident (no rollovers).

Our original date turned out to be rainy and cold. So we rescheduled the ride and those who could, came to the Strattons house for breakfast and games.  This backup plan was suggested by Georgia and we will do it again if there is another rain and cold cancellation.

Also, When there are 2 or 3 dates listed, that means you are invited to camp!
Dave will tell us which campground to reserve. Except, in McCall we will use our
cabin and Karalyn might arrange another one.
